Sterling Place: A Place for Active Adults

Sue Elzey, Sales Associate in Grant's Active Adult 55+ Neighborhood, Sterling Place, is hosting a "End of Summer Open House" this weekend, September 17 & 18, from 11 am until 6 pm daily. Two completed homes and the beautifully furnished model home will be available for tours. Sterling Place is Lakeland's only neighborhood that is officially zoned for Active Adults aged 55 and over. All of the Grant home plans in Sterling Place are designed and built specifically for the over 55 market. Features like lever door knobs, lowered bathroom vanities, and lowered light switches are incorporated into the designs of these homes that also feature upgraded lighting packages, hardwood, ceramic tile, smooth ceilings, double garages and stainless steel appliances. The neighborhood features sparkling lakes, smooth walking trails, a neighborhood gazebo, and a playground for the grandchildren. All lawns and the miles of green space is manicured regularly by a lawn care company and all yards are irrigated and landscaped. There are still a few lots still available that back up to wooded areas. "This is one of the most friendly and neighborly communities that I have ever been involved with," said Elzey. "The people here truly care about each other and they are always doing things together. It is beautiful and so well maintained. Sterling Place is an outstanding investment." Because Sterling Place is located in the City of Lakeland, there are no city taxes. Sterling Place is located on Hwy. 64 just east of Canada Road in Lakeland. "We are hard to find," said Elzey.
