Rebecca was an absolute delight. I loved having her as my agent. She did a phenomenal job and was always available to answer my numerous questions and she did so very patiently!
One of our favorite steps in the road to homeownership is the preconstruction meeting. The preconstruction meeting happens before the construction of your new home begins and is done prior to your first Design Studio appointment.
Within just a few days of the time you choose your new Grant home and your sales purchase contract is finalized, you will receive a phone call from one of our Design Studio consultants who will set the appointment for your initial meeting with your building superintendent. You will also choose your exterior selections for your new home on that appointment and preview the interior selections you will be making at a later date.
This meeting is where the fun begins! You will meet your builder and your design consultant and get the ball rolling on the construction of your home. At this meeting, your builder will go over the plans and specifications for your new home. The builder will explain the building process to you and answer any questions you have about the construction of your new home. The builder will also review and confirm any options or upgrades that are included in your contract.
Before you make plans for your preconstruction meeting, make notes of any questions or concerns you want to discuss with your builder. This is the perfect time to get an overall view of the construction process.
Successful home building is all about communication. Your preconstruction meeting is a perfect way to start the communication.
