Pet Friendly Neighborhood is Important to Animal Lovers

Grant loves our Millennial buyers and Millennials love their dogs!  Therefore, we love to plan our neighborhoods in areas that are great for pet owners.

A full 73% of Millennials currently own a pet, according to the American Pet Products Association. A whopping 89% of all Millennials who bought a home last year already own a pet and said they would pass up on an otherwise perfect home if it didn’t meet the needs of their furry kids, according to a Realtor.com survey.

These young homebuyers are definitely having a love affair with their pets  - so much so that they are often putting their dog’s needs at the top of their list when shopping for a home.  Even those who do not own a pet yet may be interested in pet friendly neighborhoods because they have waited to own a home first before they add a dog.
