Meet Your New Neighbors - The McDonalds

Looking to downsize from their home in Memphis’ Midtown area for something with less maintenance, Brandon and Tori McDonald knew exactly what they were looking for — a townhouse-style condo providing easy access to their lifestyle and a great view. Rivertown on the Island provided the location that had everything they were looking for in a home. “This was one of the first condos we visited, and we loved the layout being spread out among two stories and our patio,” Tori said. “With the construction of the house combined with the great view of the river, we knew this was the right move.” In addition to maintaining their home, the couple also works together, running Champion Windows of Memphis. Tori is the office manager at the store’s Appling Farms location, and Brandon is division manager. The McDonalds, who moved from Seattle to Memphis 10 years ago, were well familiar with the Mud Island area and knew it would cater to their lifestyle of going out to nice restaurants and catching sporting events such as the Memphis Redbirds and Grizzlies. “We always found ourselves downtown, so this is where we knew felt right,” Tori added.
