Meet Lisa Hendrix

January 31, 2012

Lisa Hendrix brings a little Cajun spice to the Grant & Co. Sales Team. Coming from a large family in New Orleans, Lisa knows a thing or two about family homes and she puts that knowledge to work as the Grant Sales Associate in the Maplebrook and Forest Hill neighborhoods in Olive Branch. “The best part of my job is getting to know my clients and understanding what they are looking for when they come into my model home,” she said. “Once I understand their needs, I know which Grant home plan and in which neighborhood they would be happiest. A happy homebuyer is my greatest reward.” Lisa is the primary sales representative in Maplebrook – a neighborhood located in the heart of Olive Branch, just down the street from the Olive Branch YMCA, Olive Branch City Park and the Maple Memorial Methodist Church.  Maplebrook features unique "cottage style" homes on smaller lots, a close-knit, neighborly community. She, along with fellow Grant sales associate, Lisa Bryan, also sells Forest Hill, a Grant & Co. neighborhood on Center Hill Road in Olive Branch.  Forest Hill features family homes on larger lots located adjacent to DeSoto County's Blue Ribbon School, Center Hill School. “I love bringing new homeowners to Olive Branch,” Lisa said. “There are so many wonderful things about this small city like all the antique shops at Old Towne Olive Branch, the amazing library here, the award-winning Olive Branch City Park. Olive Branch feels like a million miles away from the big city, but it really is just minutes to Collierville, the Memphis airport area, medical facilities, and entertainment. You get everything you need from the big city next door and everything you want from small town living.” Lisa came to the Mid-South in 1990 after earning her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master’s Degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Christian Psychology. She earned her real estate license in 2001 and has been working with the Grant & Co. Sales Team for the past three years. She and her husband, Gerald, along with their four dogs and two cats, live on a mini-farm (three acres) in the rural community of Barton, just north of Olive Branch. When she is not at the Maplebrook model home, Lisa stays busy at home and with her church work. She is a creative cook – blending southern recipe favorites with just a touch of her Cajun influence. She loves animals, gardening, books and family.  To find out more about Maplebrook or Forest Hill communities, get Lisa's contact information by clicking here.

My wife loved the Design Studio and having the ability to choose every aspect of the design - not a "design package" as in our last home.
