Homebuyers Go Toward More Zen Cabinet Colors in 2021

Stressed by the craziness of modern life, homebuyers today are more eager than ever to incorporate an element of Zen and comfort into the spaces where they spend the most time like their kitchens. This can easily be accomplished with the right colors, especially in the new cabinet colors that are now on trend.

Kitchen design is constantly evolving. Color trends, in particular, tend to surface in kitchens before they hit other areas of the home. What we are seeing at the Grant Design Studio is a shift from mostly white and gray kitchens to more earthy shades of blue and green.  

Color palettes, in particular, are starting to shift, with several beautiful, yet accessible hues making their way into today's most impressive kitchens. Our cabinet companies are releasing new and noteworthy colors with names like Under Sea, Jasper Stone, Moody Blue and Meditative.

While earthy colors have traditionally been reserved for bedrooms and bathrooms, they're quickly making a splash in virtually every aspect of the modern kitchen. These calm new cabinet colors allow homebuyers to achieve a crisp, clean look without opting for the all-white aesthetics.
