The Grant Legacy: More Than Just a Summer

At Grant, we don’t just build houses; we create the backdrop for your family’s most cherished memories. A legacy isn't built overnight—it’s woven through Saturday mornings at the market, sunsets on the porch, and the sound of laughter in a backyard that’s finally yours. This summer, we invite you to step outside, explore the community we love, and begin writing your own chapter in the North Mississippi story.

  • 1. Picnic at the Hernando Courthouse Square
Grab a blanket and some takeout from a local spot. Bonus points if you time it for a Sunset on the Square concert on a Thursday night!
  • 2. Master the "Farmer’s Market Run"
Visit the Hernando Farmers Market on a Saturday morning. Fill your basket with fresh Mississippi tomatoes, local honey, mouth watering peaches and those famous sourdough loaves.
  • 3. Take a "Blueberry Break"
Head to Nesbit Blueberry Plantation. It’s the ultimate summer tradition—just make sure to wear a hat and bring a big bucket!
  • 4. Relax at a city park
Take the kiddos to a great day in one of the area’s city parks – Olive Branch City Park or Conger Park in Hernando.
  • 5. Treat Yourself to a "Silo Stroll"
Spend an afternoon at Silo Square in Southaven. Shop the boutiques, grab a cold brew, and enjoy the beautiful architecture (maybe get some design inspo for your own Grant home!).
  • 6. Catch a Show Under the Stars
Grab tickets for a big-name act at the BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove. There’s nothing like live music on a warm Mississippi night.
  • 7. Go "Patriotic" in Olive Branch
Decorate your bikes or golf carts and join the Independence Day festivities. The fireworks at City Park are a must-see!
  • 8. Taste the "Spicy" Local Flavor
Find a local crawfish boil before the season ends in June. It’s messy, it’s spicy, and it’s the official taste of summer in the South.
  • 9. Cool Down with a Local Treat
Visit a local cheese cake or ice cream shop in Southaven or Hernando for a gourmet scoop or big slice of homemade cheese cake.
  • 10. Host a "New House" BBQ
The best part of summer? Showing off your new Grant Co. backyard. Fire up the grill, invite the neighbors, and celebrate your new community.
