My wife Jeannine's and my experience with Grant Homes and Keith and David Grant when building our home was fantastic!! Our search for our home began by looking at many homes built by a number of builders, and when Jeannine looked at the Grant model home on the corner of Macon and Far Rd.(I was home cutting the grass) she called me and told to come over right away because she found the perfect home. I went, dirty clothes and sweaty, and found that Jeannine was right. Keith and David listened as we told about our dream of a yard big enough for the kids to play and room for a pool. They helped us find the perfect lot and to layout our home on the lot to create great curb appeal. They were patient as we asked questions and picked our kitchen cabinets and hardware, tile flooring and other amenities, such as light fixtures and ceiling fans. Keith and David were flexible in timing the completion of our new home with our moving plans. It was a great experience for us, so much so that my brother and one of my co-workers are buying a Grant Home, too. Their realtor predicted that once they looked at a Grant Home, they would buy one.

Most people would question my sanity when they find out that I have bought three new Grant Homes since 2001. My first home was a two-story plan and I absolutely loved it. I am a realtor and run my business out of my home. When I chose a home office, I wanted it to be big and the biggest space was located upstairs. I soon found out that I had a bad arthritic knee and could no longer go up and down the stairs as much a s I needed to without having too much pain. So, in 2003, I sold the house without even listing it and because I so loved the last Grant home, I bought my second Grant home from Carey Grant with all the rooms on the same floor. Again, I loved the home. Not long afterwards, my business experienced great growth, which eventually meant I had outgrown my office space. So I decided to sell the home and have Keith & David Grant build me a house taking one of their plans and making changes to suit my needs. In August 2005, they began construction on the modified Waterford Plan and I moved into my third and final Grant Home in November 2005. This one has everything I need so it will be my last one. The question remains, 'Why would I choose to buy all three houses from the Grants?' There are several reasons and the first is the quality of homes they build and the amount of square footage for the price. They build more house for the money than any other builder in the same area. The arched openings and columns in my home has been the topic of conversation when family and friends visit me and see them. As a real estate agent, I have sold six of their homes to friends of mine who saw for themselves the quality in Grant Homes. Every one of those people chose a different plan from mine, but they still had the unique features like the curved archways, columns and the high ceilings that set them apart from the other builder's homes. Another reason I chose Grant for three homes is the way they communicate with the buyer. I never had the first question that they failed to answer to my liking. They were very quick to respond to any of my questions and I was pleased with the way they made me feel when communicating with me. They always did exactly what they said they would do and the trust and honesty they built with me was priceless. If I had any problems after moving in, they fixed them quickly and were always very cooperative about it. I used to work for a builder in years past and his motto was like most of the other builders after they closed on the houses....'Don't call me..I will call you' Lastly, let me say the biggest thing that attracted me to the Grant homes in the first place was the professional way that the real estate agents represented them. They genuinely believed in Grant Homes and they had years of experience and expertise in the product they were selling. It was very easy for me to decide on a Grant Home after observing the way they chose to explain every little detail about the home. They always had time to help customers and you never felt hurried or rushed to make a decision. I truly hope every other Grant Homeowner feels the way I do about their homes. I could not be happier.

In 2002, my husband and I were in the market for a new home. We began researching the homebuilders in the Memphis community and after visiting several neighborhoods and houses built by various builders, we decided on a Grant and Company home. What really sold us on our home was our visit to the model home in the Gardens of Woodland Hills. When I first saw it, I wondered if we could afford it because it had amenities that most builders would consider upgrades. But, not at Grant and Company. It was one of those 'what you see is what you get' model homes. There were no upgrades in the house that got me all excited, only to find out later that in order to get everything inside the home would cost a bundle more. So, when my husband changed jobs recently, we needed to move closer to his office, which led us to Arlington. We were so thrilled to learn that Grant and Company was building in Arlington at Arlington Trace. We are now in the process of building our second Grant and Company home. It has four bedrooms, and we love the fact that two of the bedrooms are downstairs and two are upstairs. So many builders either put only one bedroom down and the rest up - or even all the bedrooms upstairs, which is not what we want for our home. Our new home has rounded corners, columns, tray ceilings, archways and so many other amenities. And the best part of all is that they are not upgrades. In addition, it's great to know that our next-door neighbors won't have the same house as ours. The Grants have so many floor plans to choose from, and they offer different elevations to ensure homebuyers a custom look. We are looking forward to moving in our new Arlington Trace home. If we ever move again, we will definitely go with Grant and Company. For what you get - they have the best prices in town. You just can't beat the deal.
